What is Reflexology and how can it help?

Firstly, reflexology is amazing! That should be enough to describe what this technique is, but just words are not enough as you have to experience it. If you have tried reflexology and did not think much of it is because you did not experience it from someone who knows what he or she was doing. Well, reflexology is not massage, saying it is would be an insult to this gentle yet powerful method.

If done correctly, it works wonders. The best way to judge any work is to get feedback. Well, 99% of my clients swear by it. By the way, it may also help with various health issues arising from stress and anxiety or that can be put under the category of psychosomatic conditions.

Reflexology seems to work well on women's issues such as PMS, hormonal issues, period pains and even pregnancy issues. Besides this, I have seen good results involving sciatica, migraine, back pain, eczema, autism, ADHD amongst other things.

I need feet to work on as a reflexologist, but worry not as I can also work on your hands or your ears. Each foot has about 7000 nerve endings making them extremely responsive to treatment.

During the session, one might feel the movement of bio-energy or just something moving within them. By the end of the session, the client feels renewed. The pain, if any, during the session is momentary and does not last. As the sessions progress, the pain subsides too.

Ready to experience reflexology? Come and book a session. Life is passing by and you are missing out on one of the best treats available.

THE ORIGIN?

Reflexology has its roots going back more than 4000 years to ancient India, China and Egypt. In early 1900 Dr. Shelby Riley and Dr. William Fitzgerald developed “Zone Therapy” bringing Reflexology to the west. Eunice Ingham, who worked closely with Dr. Riley, was fascinated by the concept of Zone Therapy and started developing her foot reflex theory in the early 1930’s.
